Yeah Huron is good place to ride. Miles of creek. You can take the creek to I-5 then take the dirt fields to Harris Ranch for some fast food. Or, take the creek or not and head towards Coalinga where that sweet spot is at.. I think anybody with a dirk bike would love this spot. Don't get me wrong, I like it and I have a quad. There's also the hole's next to the aqueduct at Huron, pretty good riding. There also couple of trails I made just riding over and over, good practicing and a work out. Also no hassle from farmers or cops, just don't litter.
Visalia to Huron, just take I-198 west to I-269. Once you get to I-269 take a left and go about 1.5 miles and your there.

The creek is sandy and you don't need paddles and the surrounding area is dirt.
