i'll now answer my own question. i just searched both the 250 and 426 on bike bandit an viola, the same part number. thanks alot for the help.

are you telling me that the 250 and the 426 share the same p/n for the stator?

hey everyone, i.m looking for a stator for a 2002 yamaha wr 426. i sent mine to rickystator for repair but they said it was too badly damaged. anew one costs an arm and aleg so please, any info will help.thanks again,
